what if we didn't care about politics

Because why do we, anyway? Especially the presidency. It has little to no tangible effects at all, upon our daily lives. Trump was elected in 2016. What happened? Outside of the media going crazy and Trump going crazy and most everybody else going crazy (I paraphrase) ... what actually affected me? Or anyone?


.... taxes went down a little or something i guess. Immigration probably changed, I guess, if you live in the border states.


And I realize there are more significant, tangible possibilities and effects that presidents and governments have but: why do we care so much?


Aren't there more important things to care about? Absolutely. Maybe this strife we see in the nation is not our politics going wrong as much as our politics going viral.

Maybe not. I don't know. People are stupid, I guess. Although that explains most problems but really doesn't help fix them.
